8-5/8'' wide. Designed to fit doors with center posts. Choose the style that meets your needs. Security Latch's top cross arm is 1'' square, 14 gauge steel tubing. Electric weld construction for strength and stability. The entire surface is coated with a 1/16'' layer of durable Plastisol, a tough, pliable covering that protects your doors from scratches and dents. Will not peel or flake off. The leg brace is 1/4 x 1'' thick steel. Be sure to check with local fire jurisdictions to assure compliance in your area.
